Case Study - Westin Homes

Furey Consulting Engineers were originally involved in the planning process for this development in 2008 and were then appointed as the Project Engineers by the purchasers of the site in 2018. The project involved the full consultancy services for the construction and certification of the construction phase of the development. The project also involved the submission of additional planning applications for planning extension, design amendments, negotiations with all utilities including Irish Water and ESB International. The project involved the modification of ground levels resulting in deep foundations with suspended ground floors and gabion walls at the south of the site.
